Compassion Center has indefinitely suspended all “non-essential clinic services” – pending further notice, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the systemic impacts it has had on our operations and collective resources. As a result, Compassion Center is not scheduling in-clinic exams, nor are we offering personalized care at this time due to various COVID-19 related shortages.
We encourage all of those seeking services to reach out to their closest Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) – or local emergency room if they need immediate assistance, or medical care. If this is a medical emergency, please find a phone and dial 9-1-1 for immediate assistance, Compassion Center does not provide any form of emergency medical care.
NOTICE: Compassion Center is not closing permanently and will return to normal operations as soon as possible. Compassion Center’s Board of Trustees and the Office of Accountability & Transparency will continue to monitor the situation and will officially update patients as soon as it is feasible.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to follow the latest recommendations from the CDC and local health departments, and we hope everyone stays safe. Please check back later for more information.
